About the Resort

Sandos Playacar

Located nearby downtown Playa del Carmen, the beachside Sandos Playacar offers modern amenities in a tropical setting perfect for both family vacations and romantic getaways. Vacationers can spend their days strolling along the white sandy beach or soaking up the sun by one of nine pools, including a dedicated kids pool. Little ones will have a blast at the supervised kids club, while adults enjoy a pampering treatment at the spa or sip on a delicious margarita by the adults only beach area. Trip Deposit & Payment Schedule

Deposit Deadline: July 16, 2024

A Non Refundable Deposit of $300 per person is all you need to secure your room.

Any reservations requested after this date will have to be requested with the supplier.

Availability is not guaranteed and pricing will be based on the going group rate at the time of booking.

Final Payment Deadline: Full payment is due by November 15, 2024.

The Supplier reserves the right to cancel your reservation if full payment is not received by this deadline. A late payment of $100.00 per person will also be assessed to the file for any late payments received past this deadline.

PREMIUM PROTECTION PLAN INSURANCE:

Applicable to 74 years or younger, traveling to a maximum of 30 days, MUST BE PURCHASED WITHIN 48 HOURS OF BOOKING!

Coverage includes: Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption, Travel Disruption, Emergency Medical up to $10,000,000, Baggage Loss, Damage and Delay and Travel Accident. Reservation FAQ’s

We require that all guests travelling complete the Booking Request Form. When completing the form, you will be asked to input the following information:

All Inclusive means that all of your meals, snacks, drinks, entertainment, non-motorized water sports, etc are included with your stay at the resort.

Yes, passports are required to enter Mexico. Its also important to note that your passport must all not expire within 6 months AFTER travel in order to travel.

When you fill out your reservation form the process is not automatic. The charge on your credit card will be manually processed by a GLOW Travel Advisor once we confim your room. If we have questions we will reach out to you for verification. It can take up to 3 business days for your payment and reservation to be processed. A receipt/invoice will be emailed to you once the payment has been posted.

If you are interested in options for dates that are outside of the current group block, or would like a different room category quoted, please fill out the Booking Request Form and in the comments section, ask for a quote. Include in your comments which duration and/or room category you would like more information on. Or, you can always contact Amanda directly via email or phone.

When you request a customized quote, please allow up to 14 days to receive pricing back. Reserving space for a group is a unique process and is different than booking a family vacation or doing it online. We want to ensure everyone is included in our group booking at the resort, so please inquire with our travel agent.

Yes all you need to do is fill out the payment form on this page under Make Additional Payments. Once we receive your payment request we will process your payment within 3 business days. Once the payment has been processed you will be emailed a receipt.

Yes. You can make a payment at anytime by selecting the Make A Payment option. As an alternative, you can also choose to finance your trip through Uplift.

Uplift will pay for your trip in full, and then allow you to make 11 additional monthly payments to pay for your trip in full. This option will extend out your final payment deadline and may make a more affordable option for our guests.

Yes each guest can make their own payments.

We strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance and out of country insurance. This provides peace of mind and protects your trip in the event you need to cancel. We use Manulife Insurance for all of our coverage and recommend the Premium Protection Plan. Please inquire with Amanda.

If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify Glow Travel immediately. Cancellation charges are calculated based on the date that Glow Travel is notified in writing of the cancellation.

Cancellation Charges:

  • 91 DAYS OR MORE prior to departure, the applicable deposit is non-refundable.
  • 90 DAYS OR LESS prior to departure, 100% of the total cost, including taxes, fees and surcharges per person.

No not necessarily. Rooms are assigned at check-in and GLOW is not provided with your room numbers in advance. This is done by the Resort. Room assignmeents will depend on the type of room category each guest has selected, occupancy and availability. We can always make a notation on the file but requests are not gauranteed.

When you make your reservation you can send the request to us in the “Additional Information” section at the bottom of the reservation form and we will pass it along to the resort. They will do whatever they can to honor your request but it is not guaranteed.

It is very important that you book with the group. We have secured competitive pricing for all of our guests. When booking with the group, this ensures that your package is protected.

Additional Info

MAKE A PAYMENT 

Once you have completed your booking by providing the initial deposit required, you are welcome to make additional payments through the year. Please do so by filling out our Secure Request Form

Please note that your final payment due date for your trip will be on November 15, 2024. 

Please note that payments are NOT automatically processed. Amanda will receive your payment request and process these payments manually. 

Please allow up to 3 business days for a payment to be processed. 

PAYMENT PLANS: 
If you are interested in setting up a payment plan, we now offer payment arrangements through a company called UPLIFT. 

This company will assist in helping you finance your trip upfront and allow you to pay the trip off over a set period of time. 

This is a great option if you are unable to make the full payment by November 15, 2024 

If you are interested in learning more about this option, please reach out to Amanda. This program is O.A.C and does have interest fees associated with it.
